After studying the differences of all these\n units, before and after data, and dyno data logging, we were able to \ncreate a scalable solution for race use with the factory airbox. We \nstudied the current market and tested other 3rd party velocity stacks \nand found flaws that needed addressing. What we found was the current \nmarket offerings are pretty disappointing. They appear to be made \nwithout any sort of testing or consideration for long-term durability.  \nThese 3rd party stacks utilize the OEM rubber grommets and tend to \ncollapse under extreme RPM's and high airflow. Due to this we avoided \nthis rubber gasket design. The 3rd party stacks were also designed too \nwide and rubbed\/hit the adjustable stacks connecting arm for the servo \nmotor and locked the adjustable stack at a “neither open nor closed” \nfunction. As a result some 3rd party stacks actually lost horsepower \nover the stock configuration. The other 3rd party stacks appeared to \nlose power and did not alter the air\/fuel ratio at all. This is a \ntelltale sign that it did not change airflow. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOur \nin-house dyno confirmed our suspicions as these stacks did not make more\n power than the stock configuration. Our lower funnel kit gives the BMW \nS1000RR that little extra midrange and top end that could be the \ndifference between first and second place when stacked up to an equally \nmodded S1000RR.  This is a must have for full bolt-on bikes, or race \nengines. The shorter tuned stack gives the bike a unique and more \naggressive induction sound and helps keep breathing easy at higher \nRPM's.For this product to work as intended your motorcycle will require \ncustom tuning. It's roughly \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #ff0000;\"\u003e7%\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e at 12,000 RPM, interpolated to \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #ff0000;\"\u003e18%\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e more fuel at the RPM limiter as a baseline. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2 style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor\n near stock engines (sub 215whp), a 2010-2014 S1000RR will need to use a\n 2015-2019 S1000RR airbox as a donor, by removing the center stacks from\n that model and applying it to the 2010-2014, along with our M Race \nVelocity Stacks. If you need to purchase the airbox from a 15-19, the \npart number from BMW is (13718561315). This will include the entire \nairbox as the stacks are not sold separately. We recommend you find it \nused somewhere.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWithout the 2015-2019 center stacks, utilizing the\n M Race Velocity Stacks alone on a 2010-2014 S1000RR will not result in \ngains (as-is) without being a built motor 215+whp that supports that \nsort of airflow.
