The Alpinestars AST v2 Air Jacket is a high-performance, lightweight textile jacket engineered to provide exceptional airflow and superior protection for motorcycle riders. Constructed from hard-wearing 600 Denier poly-fabric, this jacket incorporates extensive mesh panels strategically positioned on the front, back, and arms to ensure optimum ventilation and cooling during warm-weather rides.
Safety is a priority with this jacket, which comes Tech-Air® 5 ready. Tech-Air® is the world’s first completely electronic, self-contained, fully independent upper body motorcycle airbag system. Strategically positioned stretch panel inserts have been designed to accommodate the airbag system, allowing for expansion when the airbag inflates while maintaining a high level of anatomical performance and a superior fit when riding without the system fitted.
Impact protection is provided by removable Nucleon Flex protectors in the elbows and shoulders, which are lightweight, sleek, and highly resistant to impacts. Additionally, GP Lite external shields and sliders on the shoulders offer superior abrasion resistance in key impact areas. For those seeking further protection, the jacket features chest and back pad compartments with comfort padding, compatible with Nucleon back and chest protectors available as an accessory upgrade.
Designed with rider comfort in mind, the jacket features pre-curved sleeves to reduce fatigue and a volume adjustment system on the sleeves with hook-and-loop straps for a highly personalized fit.
