Advanced A.I. Technology
This wearable Tech-Air® System utilizes the sophisticated Tech-Air® 5 Street crash detection algorithm. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the system accurately monitors riding conditions to determine exactly when to deploy in the event of a crash. The hardware incorporates six integrated sensors—comprising three accelerometers (including one triaxial accelerometer) and three gyroscopes (including one triaxial gyroscope)—to provide industry-leading monitoring performance across a variety of dynamic street riding scenarios, even when the vehicle is stopped.
Comprehensive Protection and Monitoring
In the event that the system detects the start of a crash, it activates the protective airbag in milliseconds. Once inflated, the airbag provides full upper body protection, covering the rider's full chest and back to minimize impact energy. For riders seeking additional safety, an integrated back protector pocket is included to house passive back protection. Alpinestars' crash detection triggering algorithm has been refined with over 2 million kilometers of riding data and over 2,000 crashes, allowing for precise assessment of situations such as lowsides or highsides.
Intelligent Interface and Connectivity
The system features a user-friendly LED display on the front chest to indicate operational status. This display includes a haptic alert, which vibrates to confirm the system is armed and provides notifications when the battery is running low. Integrated Bluetooth connectivity allows riders to pair the system with the Tech-Air® App, providing easy access to operational status, battery life, and detailed trip mapping via the MyRide feature.
