This lighter exhaust system provides significantly more flow, delivering increased top-end horsepower and improved low-end torque for a more responsive throttle. Designed with the rider’s comfort in mind, it effectively reduces heat transmission to both the rider and passenger by routing the exhaust under the frame instead of directly beneath the seat.
The system features 1-3/4" 16-gauge mandrel-bent, interconnected headers protected by 220° full-coverage heat shields. For maximum performance and refined sound-dampening, a hidden linear crossover or inter-connect is integrated into the design. The front pipe crosses over to the left side and is securely mounted to the transmission oil pan, while the crossunder pipe is formed from 1-7/8" tubing to ensure increased ground clearance without any loss in cross-sectional area.
Equipped for versatility and precision tuning, these headers include 12mm and 18mm O2 sensor ports, along with necessary sensor plugs and gaskets. Every system comes complete with all required mounting hardware for a professional-grade installation. These headers are designed to accept OEM-style dresser mufflers, providing a perfect foundation for a custom exhaust configuration.
