The Youth Formula series represents the absolute pinnacle in total head protection, engineered to provide young riders with the same industry-leading safety technology found in professional-grade helmets. At the heart of this helmet is the Adaptive Impact System (AIS), a high-performance ecosystem of structural designs and energy-mitigating materials. Developed in collaboration with the world’s foremost leaders in helmet safety, this system is fine-tuned to greatly improve impact management over traditional helmets and exceeds both ECE and DOT standards.
The construction features a range of high-performance materials including lightweight 12K carbon fiber, tri-weave composites of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, or durable polycarbonate alloys. Each shell is designed for superior penetration resistance while maintaining an incredibly light weight to reduce rider fatigue. Safety is further enhanced by Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON, which maximize the absorption of low-speed linear and rotational impacts to help protect the brain.
